The truth...I was only in Olympia for a few hours. I know that's typical for visitors to the town - it's set up almost entirely to cater to tourists visiting the archeological site.
But, despite the limited amount of time we spent there, we really enjoyed it. Ancient Olympia is an amazing collection of history and ruins. There's so much to see...so much that's historically significant. And, once you're done at the ruins, there's a delightful little town to explore, with good food, great ice cream and some fun shopping.
