What can I say? You either love or hate the place and I have a love-hate relationship. It is dirty and smelly. There are a lot of people who want to rip you off. And it is just full of people. However, it has some amazing museums, excellent shops and good places to eat and drink. The architecture is lovely and so is some of the scenery. |

I've visited the Champs Elysees twice, once in October once in November. Never been hassled at all, which is unusual for Paris! Best done after dark I think, seems much more attractive with all the lights. | Jeannette1 Sat Feb 7, 2004 21:21 UTC
