Boston is one of my favorite cities. It has so much history and entertainment, beautiful city streets and neighborhoods, amazing college campuses, and a great atmosphere that keeps me coming back every year.
My favorite thing about Boston is the Red Sox. I always catch a game or 2 when I am there. Last year I finally got a chance to see the Red Sox play the Yankees, and that was the best baseball game I have ever been to in terms of atmosphere. Definitely catch a game if you are there during baseball season.
I should be back in Boston sometime in August or September for a weekend, so I will do some sightseeing and take some more pictures so I can put some better tips on here. Usually I go just to visit my friend or catch a ballgame at Fenway so I never did get to see much. |

f355s34 Thu Nov 30, 2006 03:35 UTC I was wondering if you might know why Breed's Hill was named that. Also, why was Bunker Hill named "Bunker Hill", was it for any specific reason or what? And if Breed's Hill was named after anyone, who was it? | emilienoelle Sat Oct 21, 2006 02:45 UTC Nice page! Not many people from out of town know about the old Hancock Building's weather. Nice pics of Fenway, too! | moiraistyx Tue Sep 5, 2006 00:09 UTC Very nice Boston page, great tips and nice pics. | pedersdottir Fri Apr 30, 2004 02:30 UTC Very nice job! Hope to visit Boston this year - and will save these tips for historical reference. |
