Budapest has some of the finest thermal baths in all of Europe due to an abundance of natural hot springs. Baths have existed in the Budapest region since Roman times, but the Ottoman Turks who ruled Budapest for over 150 years made them what they are today and left many baths behind which are still in use. The picture is of the Szechenyi Baths in Varosliget. This bath is the hottest and deepest in Budapest.
