Nightlife Spot: Karlovy Lazne
Karlovy Lazne claims to be the biggest nightclub in middle Europe. It has 4 levels each with something different to offer and some good DJs. There is a cover charge which will get you into all 4 levels (get there before 10 PM and pay less). The crowd is mostly a younger crowd. The club closes at 5 AM. If you are in Prague on a weekend, this is a good club to go to. During the week, its not as good.

Nightlife Spot: Klub Lavka
Klub Lavka is a popular club near Karlovy Lazne and the Charles Bridge. It has 2 different levels for the club and an outdoor terrace facing the bridge. The upstairs is more of a place to sit and relax and the downstairs is for dancing. There is a cover charge and no real dress code. The crowd was mixed with people from teenagers to 40's. Maybe I went on a bad night, but it seemed like guys outnumbered the girls 4:1.

Nightlife Spot: Kamenny Most
Kamenny Most is a restaurant/bar/terrace near the Charles Bridge with a great atmosphere. In my opinion, of all the clubs I went to in Prague, people were having the best time here. We were on our way back to the room and the bouncers persuaded us to go in just to check it out because there was no cover. I ended up enjoying this place more than the clubs that get all the publicity. It was small but the people in there made it a great time. The bar area is made of masonry and sandstone in the style of the Charles Bridge and was once a wine cellar. The go-go dancers dance nonstop, and the bartender puts on a firebreathing show. The waitresses are very friendly and happy. The DJ is very good and plays a wide variety of music from 50's to hip-hop to disco and more. There are also special theme nights set up on certain days (check out the website for more info). The restaurant is open from 11:30 AM to Midnight, and the bar is open from 6 PM to 4 AM.

StumpTim Mon Jun 29, 2009 02:04 UTC I wanna go to Prague - soon | drkraus Mon Jul 28, 2008 05:22 UTC I ate at Pivnice u Glaubicu on June 30th. The waitress gave us the most expensive version of a meal without informing us of the fact. Also, she purposely tried to overcharge us. She handed us a hand-added bill on a napkin that had been inflated. | sikorka Thu Sep 7, 2006 14:34 UTC Hi Nick, realy good tips about nightlife, I'll try to go to those places this October. | Maurizioago Thu Oct 20, 2005 18:18 UTC I have seen yor pages again!
