Great Location for Private Accomodation and other Prague, Czech Republic Hotel/Accommodation Reviews

The Charles Bridge Apartments are located literally 1 minute from the Charles Bridge in Mala Strana. The location is unbeatable. It is also only a 5 min walk to the nearest metro station and short walks to many tourist attractions. Being able to see the Charles Bridge tower right outside your window is also unique.

Miroslav, our host, was great. He picked us up from the airport for a small fee and dropped us off right at the door of the apartment, showed us around the local area, and was also very patient when my ATM card wasn't accepted anywhere.

There are other locations available besides the Charles Bridge location, so make sure you ask about them if this one is booked.

Unique Qualities: The facilities are roomy, clean, and quiet. The unit I stayed in had 2 rooms with a total of 3 beds, a bathroom, small kitchen, and satellite TV. You can come and go as you please.

Payment is up front, so make sure you get enough cash when you arrive in Prague.

All Miroslav asks is that you clean up after yourself before you leave.

Hotel Berlin is a little out of the way as far as tourist attractions, but close to the Andel metro station which is only a 5 min ride from Wenceslas Square.

It is a newer hotel with new furnishings and a 24-hour reception. The neighborhood, Smichov, isn't as nice as some of the touristy areas. I didn't feel as safe in this area at night as in the rest of Prague.

Unique Qualities: Rooms are clean and comfortable staff is friendly. All rooms have satellite TV and minibar. The helpfulness of the staff was probably the best aspect of this hotel.
