Favorite Thing: Beer is so cheap here! You will find some of the best beers in the world in Prague and the price is unbeatable. It is cheaper than bottled water!

Favorite Thing: Prepaid international phone cards are available almost anywhere and are a decent value. For example, a 150 Kc card from Smartcall will give you 10 min. of talk time.

General Tips: Developing pictures in Prague

Favorite Thing: If you are worried about developing your film in Prague, don't be. There are 2 stores I used and both did an excellent job. The prices were only slightly higher than in the US. Fotografia Praha, located in a shopping center off Vodickova, was very good. They didn't speak any language besides Czech, but knew exactly what I needed and did a great job. Foto Real in Old Town also did a good job, but I was more satisfied with the service at Fotografia Praha.

I ate at Pivnice u Glaubicu on June 30th. The waitress gave us the most expensive version of a meal without informing us of the fact. Also, she purposely tried to overcharge us. She handed us a hand-added bill on a napkin that had been inflated. | sikorka Thu Sep 7, 2006 14:34 UTC
