Standing at the top of the lookout point over Queenstown and seeing The Remarkables in the background, I finally understood the definition of the word "breathtaking".

This is the most scenic town I have ever been to. Standing at the top of Bob's Peak is like looking into a painting. The clean, crisp mountain air is refreshing, and the peacefulness of the town makes being there that much more enjoyable. Queenstown is as close to perfect as can be.

Queenstown was the 3rd stop on my trip to New Zealand. I took a flight from Wellington which connected in Christchurch. The flight alone was amazing, and I was looking out the window the entire time taking pictures.

I didn't come here for the extreme sports. I came here only to see the views, and it was well worth it. I was happy just sitting outside relaxing and enjoying the scenery.

I was only supposed to visit Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch because I was short on time, but I made sure I booked Queenstown after I saw a picture of it. Queenstown made my whole trip to New Zealand, and it is what I will remember the most.
