Wellington is the capital of New Zealand. It is a quiet city with a small town atmosphere. It is home to the best museum in New Zealand - Te Papa, and has a very good cafe culture. The hills surrounding the city are very scenic. Wellington is far from boring, as most people would have you believe.
Wellington was the 2nd stop on my trip to New Zealand. I spent 2 days here, but both were overcast and rainy, so I was disappointed in not being able to enjoy Wellington as much as I should have. I still had a great time checking out the city, especially the museum and Parliament.
