    • Restaurant Name: Lola's Cafe

    A hippy-style café, in keeping with the slightly anarchical feel of the upper part of Long Street. It is one of the few places open on a Sunday in this part of town, so it gets particularly crowded with a very mixed, cheerful crowd for Sunday brunch or lunch: I waite 20 minutes for a menu.
    Good African music, but a distinctly short menu. The Caprese salad was good, but the bread was a bit tiresome after four slices.

    Favorite Dish: Sunday brunch out on the pavement. And there are few places open on Sundays in central Cape Town!
