Popover While holidaying in Amsterdam, I went to visit another couple of friends in London. Subsequently, it was only a weekend, but I managed to do a whirlwind tour of the outside of all the important sights (no time to line up and get in), did part of the Monopoly board tour, have several pub visits, dinner on the Thames and a little bit of shopping in Camden where they decorate the shop fronts with great signs/statues.
It rocked~! And it also ate up a sizeable part of my allowance for the holiday. | | |
Cutty Sark park My ex took me to see Dreamscape, which was an installation in a park. We stopped to look at the Cutty Sark while going there.
Dreamscape was based on a jumping castle. It was a huge plastic tent filled with air. They gave you two toned silk capes to wear (you got to choose a colour) and inside they played ambient music. There were sections of different coloured lights inside the tent, and as you walked into those areas, the colour of your cape would become different to your eyes.
It was a fantastic exercise and completely elevating to the senses. | | | Dreamscape, an art installation |
