A big part of the EKKA is the rural folk coming into town to show their produce. There are shows, demonstrations and judging.

There's fruit and vege, the baby animal petting barn (its a big barn where the animals are just roaming free. You walk among them and feed them), barns where the show animals are kept - poultry, horses, goats, emu chicks. All manner of other animals. Then there's pets, the cat, dog and bird shows and the judging - best in show.

Don't miss the sheep dog trials! And the pig that loves to dive.

If you're an animal lover, the EKKA is a great place to be.
