Tucson was the location for our 2005 meeting with our major customer base. The forecast had been bleak, with rain(?!?!) predicted for Thursday and Friday. Tucson typically only gets measurable rain 5 days per year, so you can imagine our disbelief when we saw rain predicted for the majority of the time we were to be there.
As luck would have it, the forecasts were not wholly accurate and the weather Thursday afternoon and Friday was spectacular. |

The morning showed promise, but it was a work day so there wasn't time to get out and enjoy Tucson. |
I managed to get in some golf with a group of customers, driving the clouds away so Friday would be perfect! Our event was held at the Westin La Paloma Resort and Spa on the northern edge of Tucson at the base of the Santa Catalina mountains. The La Paloma Country Club is adjacent to the resort and has fine facilities and a very well-maintained 27 holes of golf. |
