Great place to visit.

It's difficult not to write in superlatives all the time when we write about our journey through America. But Zion National Park was another highlight of our travel through the South West of the U.S.A..

Brilliantly coloured rockface.

A beautiful blue sky at a rim in Zion.

Also known as the "Land of the Rainbow Canyons", Zion is famous for its bright red-orange sandstone canyons that merge in shades of white, pruple, pink and yellow to create some of the most brilliantly coloured rockface in the world.

Though it's been a few years ago, Hans & I also visited this wonderful Zion Park & loved it there. Your "acorn" is actually a large pine cone - from the pine trees.
