Enthusiasm for life! | Iris and Relinde are enthusiastic! |
Catalonia lies in the northeastern corner of Spain. Barcelona, its capital, lies along the beautiful coastline and is one of the great Mediterranean cities that can be found there. Few places are so redolent with history, few so boldly modern. Animated and inspired, it is a city that sparkles as much as night-time as in the full light of day. It is famous for its avenue, La Ramla, for its bars, its museams and mostly its enthusiasm for life! |
Modern city with beautiful preserved history! Barcelona is a great destination to travel to, not only because of its geographic location but also and above all because of its history, tradition and cultural influences. The documented history of the city dates back to the founding of a Roman colony on its soil in the second century B.C.! Modern Barcelona has experienced a spectacular growth and is more than just a single city, is really a collection of multi-faceted and diverse cities. We were very surprised that such a modern and enterprising city preserves its historic Gothic center, which is almost intact. Just go out there and enjoy … like we did! |
