1,313 sq km (507 square mile) Yoho national park is truly a gem in the central Canadian Rockies. With lakes waterfalls and glaciers and several peaks over 3,000 meters (10,000 feet) it gets less recognition than its neighboring Jasper National Park. Mainly I believe for the difference in size, however it has no lack of beauty.

Beautiful photos and great tips on the magnificence of Yoho National Park! I'd love to have another go or two myself at more of the fabulous NPs in the Rockies on both sides of the border!
Great page. I visited Yoho five years ago, but only spent a day. Also, I didn't have a digital camera. I hope to get back and spend some more time there within the next few years...
