"Tumwater Falls Park" Top 5 Page for this destination Olympia by GuthrieColin

Olympia Travel Guide: 109 reviews and 360 photos

Tumwater Falls Park is a small urban park constructed by the old Olympia Brewing Company. The Brewery is now out of business but the park remains. The park, City and falls were named after a Chinook word 'tumtum' meaning rushing water.
This park, although small and in many cases altered from its natural state, still makes for an urban oasis. The proximity to I-5 makes it an ideal location to stop on your way south to get out and stretch your legs. It is easily accessible as well and would be a suitable place to bring the kids for a casual outing.

Hi Colin! You just can't take a bad picture of a waterfall! Very nice! I enjoyed reading about Tumwater Falls, and I will probably add them to my list...along with the other 400 I want to see while I'm there. :-)
