Mount Rainier National Park
Mount Rainier itself is visible across most of Western and some of Eastern Washington. It is 14,410 feet (4,392 meters). Much of the park Is covered with virgin forests and unaltered wilderness. The mountain itself is what many people focus on however. It is known for having 26 named glaciers on its flanks and being the most heavily glaciated peak in the lower 48 states. It was also featured on the “Washington State Quarter”

Hi Colin! Thanks for the postcard. I truly enjoyed looking at the newest waterfalls you've conquered. My favorites? I think I am going to have to say Silver Falls and Thunder Falls. Although you know, all waterfalls have a special place in my heart. :-)

Thanks for the card Colin! You're incredibly lucky to have so many beautiful waterfalls around (take me on a hike with you!!!). I've just hiked part of Spain, check out my Andalucia page ;-) (only tiny waterfalls though....)
