Rrrr I couldn't find anywhere else to put this tip so this will have to do for now.
Discovery Park is quite large at 534 acres (the largest city park in Seattle), and features a high bluff above Shilshole Bay. You will be greeted with great views of the Olympic Mountains and, if you make the hike, of the lighthouse.
It is open from 6AM till 11PM daily and does not charge for visiting. Although you may want to pick up a map at the Visitor's Center.
