You are welcome in the capital of Latvia

Take a walk through the labyrint of cobble-stoned streets and you will probably feel that you have made a jorney back in time. Gothic churches and ancient buildings remind you of the Middle Ages. This words are about Old Riga (Vecriga) - the historical part of my city.
Riga is called as small Paris because films directors from Russia often film Paris scenes in the Old Riga's streets. Tha last film what russians still film here is "The red oratory". This mini serial is about WW 2, about french spies.

Labdien Lana, you are quite right. Riga is safe compared to most big cities, i I was very surprized when in nightclubs, the girls just leave thier bags on chairs or even on the bar while they get up and dance. in London it would be stolen within seconds.
