After skiing Mayrhofen we decided to head in to Vienna for a night for rest and relaxation, to take in the Christmas Markets and the general Austrian way of life. We stumbled in to our hostel quiet late and we found a comfy *cough* double bunk to crash on. We headed out that evening to sample the delights of Vienna in the winter cold. Cups of gluevine (readily available from everywhere) quickly warmed us up, and the delicious roasted chestnuts definitely hit the spot. St Stevensplatz is amazing with its zig zag roof, and the Christmas markets are wonderful.
