Welcome to my travelpages

And who is Mittnic? Mittnic is the nickname I use for the internet and it means "my nick(name)" in Swedish.

Like many on VT I have a pretty severe travel addiction. To see new places, meet people and get new impressions is to me something I can’t imagine to live without.

I have not an ambition to give a comprehensive presentation of countries I travelled to but I do enjoy to show some photos and share stories.

NYC

One of the un-solved equations of my life is:

[5 annual vacation weeks + a handful of national holidays * the inability to manage a saving’s account = the travel habits of a holder of a trust fond or a writer for a travel magazine]

Part of the solution is to always keep an eye open for cheap flights and good hotel deals. I always let the price decide my destination. If it’s expensive I save that journey for another day but if I see a cheap ticket I pack my bags. Until now I've never been able to resist a good price to an interesting destination, even if it's only a one way ticket (it's stupid, I know).

I’m not a hard core budget traveller but I do like to get value for my money be it a first class hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Surabaya or Las Vegas or a hostel in London.
