Restaurant Name: Cafe Matisse

This restaurant is in downtown Nassau. It has been around for quite awhile and is very popular with tourists and locals. There is a wonderful feeling of being in a little old house. You can dine inside where all the pictures and prints are of course by Matisse. They have a lovely couryard full of tropical plants with little fairy lights all around, where you can also eat or in the gazebo. There is also a large porch running across the back of the restaurant on the second floor that is available for dining as well. Cafe Matisse is open for lunch and dinner, but make sure you make reservations as it is extremely busy.

Favorite Dish: I have eaten here on numerous occasions and any of the dishes are good. They serve a really tasty chicken dish, but the steak or seafood is also good. They also have homemade pizza and terrific desserts.

Restaurant Name: Senor Frogs

This is a really fun place to stop for a cold drink or lunch. It's quite noisy, with good music and sometimes a fun dj in action. It is located right over the water a stones throw from the area where the cruise ships dock. Great fun to sit and watch the action.

Favorite Dish: Loved the Senor Frogs Margurita. Nice and big and very sour. Mmmm! Great wings also.

Restaurant Name: Hurricane Hole

This is a great place to have a casual inexpensive meal. They also have cheap Happy Hour drinks and sometimes live entertainment on the week-ends. This is just a short walk across the street from Atlantis.

Favorite Dish: They make a really good chicken wrap.
