Getting a glimpse
I think all travellers like to go to places they were not before. So do I ! Even it was only a glimpse as I came with a cruiseship, here is some info:
even if going only on shore you need a visa at 15 Euro. American citizen were not allowed at all to leave the ship as they are not welcome to Libya.
I visited already several Arab countries and so it was surprising that nobody hasseled trying to sell unnecessary goods to tourists. People were absolut friendly and helpful.
