Commander's Palace: Outstanding Cuisine With A Personal Touch
  • Tip Rating:
  • Satisfaction:
  • Restaurant Name: Commander's Palace

First you are greeted by the handsome Italian maitre d', Santino ("Ciao, bellas!"), and ushered in feeling like Something Special.

If you wait for a table at the bar, Tommy the equally handsome bartender will attend to your drinking pleasures with a sparkle in his eye.

Once seated, you select the wine-&-food sampling menu, and every dish is exquisite, served with a flourish and the perfectly paired wine.

How can you top it? I don't know!

Favorite Dish: The ultimate experience was the wine and food sampling menu, no doubt in my mind.

How can you go wrong eating at Emeril's???

If you don't know who Emeril is, check out his website bio:
    http://www.emerils.com/emeril/biography.htm

Favorite Dish: I had a fillet of sole with lump backfin crab that was utterly succulent, but everyone else at the table was oo-ing & ah-ing too.

Basically, the food arrived, and all conversation stopped.

One note, however: the service couldn't anywhere near compare to Commander's Palace.
