The Beach At Bahia Honda - Bahia Honda State Park

A nice stop along Rte. 1

Bahia Honda is a lovely little state park, located on Bahia Honda Key at MM 37, along Route 1 (watch for the green & white mile markers, everything in the Keys is located by MM's instead of regular addresses).

Pros and Cons

Pros:It's a very pretty and refreshing spot
Cons:None, really...I mean, it is what it is, ya know?
In a nutshell:Take a picnic and treat yourself to a lovely break

I've been to the Fla. Keys 8 times on camping trips with my family over spring break when the kids were young. Every year about this time I get a longing to be there again.

Which major city or airport is this place closest too? I need to learn more about these spots in Florida. For some reason when I think Florida I just think Disneyworld and I am not interested in that as much :-(

Another beautiful spot in Florida with a gr8 array of natural attractions. Maybe it should be somewhere here rather than Paris???????
