The surprise of Trellis Bay

Arriving from San Juan, Puerto Rico at the main BVI airport on Beef Island, several of us had to catch the North Sound Ferry over to Virgin Gorda before we could relax & unwind. A free airport shuttle picked us up and delivered us to the ferry docks at Trellis Bay, a few minutes away from the airport terminal. Then the North Sound Ferry guy told us to just leave our luggage at the dock and go enjoy our hours here at Trellis Bay with some shopping and a bite to eat.

Nervously we allowed him to place our bags on the hand trolley at the dock, with a few of his coworkers sitting there to watch them. And then the fun began.

Trellis Bay is known as a little artists' enclave, the primary attraction being Aragorn's Studio. A few other fun stops are strung along the beachfront, including a cafe & a market for boaters. Windsurfers practice their sport, wealthy yachties come & go, all in all it's a marvelous show, nothing boring about waiting around for this ferry!

We ate dinner at this place last month and the food was terrible. . I tried to complain to the owner and found out he is an A HOLE that does not want to hear how crappy his place is. I will never go back and I suggest that you do not go either.
