Chochin Waterfall

Once you get to Hua Hum, you'll be able to hike through the beautiful Hua Hum park. This park is is next to the lake, surrounded by oak and coigue trees and beautiful scenery. At the end of the trail (approximately 20-25 minutes), you'll get to the Chochin Waterfall. It's not huge nor tall, but it is beautiful. The surroundings help make the waterfall just perfect.

Directions: On the opposite side of San Martin, on the Lacar lake

Playa Escondida

On the way to Hua Hum, you'll encounter Playa Escondida (Hidden Beach). The Lacar lake in particular doesn't have many beaches. The mountains go deep into the water very abruptly, leaving no chance for beaches. Anyhow, there are some beaches, and Playa Escondida is one of them.

Lacar Lake

The Lakar lake is the lake that you can see from San Martin. Is a big lake and quite cold. It's also the first lake of the 7-lake route. I you want to see it from above, take the route to the top, from the costanera to your left. Once you arrive at the old hotel, turn right, and continue your trail. You'll encounter beautiful spots from where you'll have an amazing view.

Directions: From the costanera, turn left, and continue going (with the lake on your right). When the road splits, go to your left (no to the right, following the lake), and you'll begin climbing.
