Whenever I need to feel reborn I go to Thailand.
I fast for 10 days.
Do Yoga every morning and contemplate the biggest decisions of my life....and to steal a quote:
It's rather nice to think of one's self as a sailor bending over the map of one's mind and deciding where to go and how to go.
6 years ago when I first went to Thailand Manta welcomed me with open arms and quiet wisdom.
I go back every year.
This time she shared her amazing culinary skills with me in the kitchen we designed all those years ago And she introduced me to Pairog who tought me the art of Thai Massage.
Travelling alone is not lonely; it'a an extemely powerful feeling, very similiar to love--it's that kind of strength.
Travel to me, is the most private of pleasures.
No two journeys are ever the same.
- Pros:I still have a quite little beach that I love.
- Cons:Krabi is SO full of tourists now. Thank Hollywood.
- In a nutshell:Thailand is a very special place....it is what you make it.
