Hello, my name is Stephanie, I welcome you on board, to my little world on Virtual Tourist. I have been a member here on Vt for quite some time now and before you continue reading, BEWARE! this might become addictive, just like it has become an addiction to me and I tell you what, I simply don't regret it!
Virtual Tourist is all about our beautiful world, not only, it's all about travel and travellers. A place where we exchange photos, information, ideas, suggestions, about any place in the world, from choosing the best airlines to the best Kebab stall you could find. Learning about different countries, cultures, traditions, getting to know other travellers and actually meeting some of the world's great travellers of our century.

A little MORE ABOUT ME ... I am 27 today soon to be 28 yet I believe to still be this really little girl inside. I still like pink & fur & stars & glitters & fairy tales cause they make every child's world great. I'm quite fair in complexion with brown hazel hair which is fairly long and which I love. I have been on a diet all my life & yet have not found one that works for me & its something which takes so much of my time. I have a flair for cloths and fashion, I think cloths is what spices everyday life and colour I love colours my favourite is pink sorry that must be red or yellow or orange all colours are beautiful, brights are best and I love them all. Favourite food is Italian and mediterranean. I'm not so much into chocolate but I love cheese. White wine and herbal teas! I'm very patient and I work for a bank. I have two men in my life that's my boyfriend who I live with and my lovely dad. I love them both and my biggest friend is my mum something which luckily I'm happy to have realized now that I've grown into this mature lady that besides finding time for VT she washes the floors & makes the laundry & experiment on her boyfriend with new recipes. I have two pets, Ace and Stony, my lovely birds and I've been bugging my boyfriend to get us some gold fish and a tortoise too ! Finally 2 new additions to my lovely family, Tor & Toise, my lovely Tortoise! I am very romantic and very much in love. I take things too seriously at times and I worry too much. I have a big wish for all the world and that's to be happy & healthy. My other one is for all of you to find love at least once in your lives and before you actually get there start by falling in love with yourself. My dream job would be to design cloths. If I won the lottery I buy myself a house & take my family & my boyfriend on a holiday of a lifetime. Best thing I love about my country is that it must be the safest in the world. My dream holiday? I haven't got one I have my dream holidayS. I would love to write a book one day, I love telling stories. Fondest memories are those while traveling. Vienna, Rome, Venice, London.... its never ending - Needless to say I simply love traveling.

Food 4 VTers...Travel being my tops & food heading just right after I thought I should dedicate some space for my passion for food. Unlike traveling, food does fill all my pockets when I get back from holiday that's cause there's always something to try and to taste in every little corner of the world. I come from the little island of Malta and the never ending list of Maltese recipes & food traditions make me wonder about what a wonderful list that could be 'The Worlds list of recipes'! The dilemma is usually between tasting that chocolate waffle from Belgium, famous Maltese cheese cakes or that home made ice cream & sweets in Italy, an apple strudel in Austria, an elegant english pudding from England or eat as much as you can from a mouth watering menu at some famous Diner and on the other hand still looking good & in great shape!
For all of you who like me are food lovers especially those VTers that just love to be a local wherever they go & taste all of the wonderful food traditions & indulge in some of the best culinary experiences around the world yet would still love to look good before, while & after they come from holiday, I thought I will bring together some interesting information. I will be adding: Famous Recipes from around the World, Must Taste foods around the World & Healthy eating to make it happen!
This morning I got inspired from the Broccoli soup that I was doing, green & funny creature, not until I googled it and found out she's Italian & that it prevents us from a never ending list diseases, it is one of the best antioxidants to help get rid of those fat tissues, helps against heart diseases, sun damaged skin, its a stomach enhancer, has Vitamins C, K & A and its so low in calories!! Just right to make me feel good & look good, I so have to wear my favourite shorts this summer on holiday & I will be needing lots of space for all those Pina Coladas so here we go! 1st Recipe is the Broccoli Soup, keeping light & healthy for a feeling good holiday on plan. For those who have never tried Broccoli or would like to spice it up you can add chilies or some of your favourite cheese. My suggestion is sweet gorgonzola... Hmmmm! Check out my Broccoli Recipe.

From my LAST ADVENTURE...This is me & my boyfriend in Venice. We were there this February 2009 and were lucky to be there both for carnival and valentines day. It's been great, very colourful, very romantic, very beautiful and fun. The following are some masks that we wore during our holiday.
