Genting is an extremely popular tourist spot with visitors from Singapore due to its relatively close proximity (6 hours by land transport), cool mountain air, theme park rides, and of course the casinos.

During my trip, my friends and I tried out the new and thrilling SpaceShot ride then, which launch you upwards with a force of 4G. While I am quite used to the feeling of freefalling in theme park rides, the feeling of moving upwards at a speed faster than freefall was both unfamiliar and very thrilling at the same time, especially during the transition point at the peak, where we temporary experienced the feeling of weightlessness.

An additional bonus was due to the low clouds on the day we took the rides, we actually went through one on our way up! It was cold, very cold. ;-)
