Nicest Spa in Nagoya

I think Win's Spa is the most upmarket spa in Nagoya. Unlike Sports Massage Centre & Spa (which is a good place for therapy massage), it actually really resemble a spa.

This spa, located just behind Harmoni Hotel, is very popular to Singaporeans and is almost always fully booked. So make sure you secure a booking the moment you reach Batam, if you intend to unwind over here.

Back Therapy Massage In A Salon

Johnny Andrean hair salons are available in probably all the more popular shopping malls in Batam. We visit DC Mall, Center Point, and Robinson, and found one in each of them.

Anyway, one really good thing about this particular chain of hair salon is that one of the service they offer is a 45 minutes Back Therapy Massage at only 19,000 ruppiah, which is about US$2.

It is rather well done too. Just remember to tell the staff giving you the back rub to be more gentle because I found that most of them tend to believe that by apply as much force as possible, they are giving the best massage....

Sports Massage Centre & Spa

When your body's aching from all the shopping and water sports activities that are so popular in Batam, a good massage is one of the best way to unwind the body.

Sports Massage Centre, next to Goodway Hotel and opposite Harmoni hotel is a good no-frills place to experience a good massage. Its staff are relatively professional and its prices reasonable (most 1 hour treatments cost around S$15 ~ S$25 / US$9 ~ US$15).

While Singapore dollars is accepted, do note that as they will obviously use a less than favourable exchange rate, it will be at least 10% more expensive than if you pay in Indonesian Ruppiah.

Also, although the place is called a Spa, it is really more of a therapeutic massage centre as there are basically not much ambience to speak of....
