The first stop in my trip to Japan, I got the Shinkansen from Narita all the way to Kyoto. Having been awake for well over 24 hours, when I arrived in Kyoto I had little on my mind except to get to the Youth Hostel ASAP, the brilliant Tour Club.
Being the first place I had been to, my first impressions were very good. A little cultural clash but ultimately a very nice city to visit, with some superb temples and arhictecture both new and old.
