Arizona Outback
The area in which I live is called the
"Arizona Outback" because it resembles the Outback of Australia.
There are many widely spread little towns each with its own unique
characteristics. Snowbirds from all
over North America spend their winter here because of the mild weather. The town in which I live is
named Quartzsite. The population during the summer is about 1500. During the winter the population soars to an average of 750,00 people. During the winter, there are
so many activities: music festivals, swapmeeting, hiking, 4 wheeling, balooning, ultralights, watersports, etc. Summertime is mostly going to the Colorado River to cool off.
