"The Real Land Down Under - Antarctica" French Southern and Antarctic Lands by cmstoos

You Can't Get Tired of Penguins

Real life black and white is what the Antarctic is. The other colors is the incredible turquoise blue of the icebergs, and the bright red jackets of the tourists. And fortunately not much red.

You can see for miles and it's uncanny that the mountains you see eight miles away can be over 3000 feet. You can't just distance because there are no "markers" such as trees to put size in perspective.

Penguins, seals, and whales are the only motion in sight. There is such a clarity of air and water.

I would go again if I have the opportunity. If you want to see more pictures and get more details, send me an email
