Isaac's Deli: Creative, fresh sandwiches

Their sandwiches are creative, including interesting ingredients such as cole slaw, Isaac's special sauce, and soft pretzels instead of bread. Yummy soups. Endless drinks including pink lemonade. You get pickled veggies as an appetizer (kindof like other restaurants would bring bread to the table...they bring pickled veggies).

I eat here every chance I get.

The idea and food are still fresh after 25 years in business.

All of the sandwiches are named after birds, and the restaurants have an interesting interior (pink flamingos and neon are part of the motif).

Favorite Dish: Rainbow Parrot: Corned beef on pumpernickel with melted Muenster cheese, crunchy cole slaw and fresh onions, tomatoes and lettuce, all topped with Thousand Island dressing.

Piero's in Akron: Excellent Italian

This was our favorite restaurant when we lived in the area. High quality Italian food for a fair price. It is on 272 in Akron - maybe 10 miles north of Lancaster. Entrees, sandwiches, and desserts. Casual
