The Big Trees

Sequoias are the largest living things on the earth, with the largest being 2000-3000 years old. Which makes me think....what is the oldest living thing on earth (if not the Sequoias), and how old is it?

What to do besides checking out the massive trees

This is a great spot for hiking, although we didn't get in as much hiking as I'd hoped (or would recommend).

There are also rivers, mountains, and backcountry to explore.

The park has varied landscapes, from the foothills (1700') to the forest (6000-7000') to the High Sierra (up to 15,000')

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:Beautiful natural landscapes
  • Cons:You should allot several days if you don't want to leave feeling unfulfilled
  • In a nutshell:Very unique natural setting to explore
