It's not really a warning, but just a piece of advice - if it's been raining, don't walk down to the aquarium. Not that I'd know from experience :), but the wooden walkway between the Columbus statue and the Aquarium mall is very very slippery. I saw several people fall in a matter of 10 minutes.
