Thai style boutique hotel in Hua Hin and other Hua Hin, Thailand Hotel/Accommodation Reviews

This I must say the Balivana Hua Hin has not yet opened but I have seen the location and very nice. It is a few minutes walk to the beach. The rooms are in tropical gardens and it has been designed in Thai style with some Balinese style also. All rooms have some form of additional sitting room area and all have own patios. There are only 5 rooms spread out in the gardens. I belive some rooms will have a shared spa pool or jacuzzi. This will be very nice for those who want s small boutique style place to stay in Hua Hin with quality Thai style and service. We had Afternoon tea on the patio and were shown the completed rooms whicjh were very cosy with nice touches.

Unique Qualities: Lovely natural Thai and Balinese style small hotel accommodation in Hua Hin quite close to the beach. Tropical gardens with fruit trees, lots of shade, garden loungers and cosy accommodation.

The Sofitel Hua Hin is now known as the Sofitel Centara Hua Hin. The rooms at the Sofitel Centara are excellent and there are now also the Pool Villas. The gardens are well cared for. The restaurants offer top class cuisine and very good service, and bars are good also. The Sofitel Centara was the original Raily Hotel in Hua Hin and has been a fine place to stay now sine the 1900's. They have retained the classic original style of the hotel but it also offers the most modern of ameneties and facilities.
The staff at the Sofitel Hua Hin are very attentive and efficient. If you want a luxury beach hotel in Hua Hin the Sopfitel provides a quality of service and style that is hard to beat. The swimming pool and garden areas are excellent and of course being right on the beach is ideal.

The new Sheraton Hua Hin is due to open in August 2007. I hope to visit once it is open. There are now some photos of the Sheraton Hua Hin on the Sheraton website. I think these have recently been added. They say there will be 56 direct lagoon access rooms, a total of 240 rooms. Spa and Health Club. 200 meter lagoon style swimming pool. I am sure as soon as guests visit we will be able to read the reviews. The Sheraton Hua Hin will be another 5 star resort in the Hua Hin and Cha Am area.
Please not I have had to input Very Satisfied as otherwise it will not work. But I am sure others will want to post reviews and will want to know the opening date which is now according to the website 15th August 2007.

The Sofitel Hua Hin is the famous hotel located right on the beach and yet also close to the restaurants and shopping of Hua Hin. The rooms are very comfortable and the service is excellent. It is hard to beat the Sofitel Centara Hua Hin if you are looking for a luxury hotel in Hua hin that is both on the beach and also right if the town.

The Anantasila is what you could call a hidden gem. Right on the beach at Khao Takiab Bay the Anantasila is designed around a large central swimming pool, some room you can stem straight to the pool. Being right on the beach you can laze under plam trees and enjoy the great views over the bay to the small offshore islands and also the rocky headland of Khao Takiab. The tide stays well out so you do not suffer the 'loss of beach' at high tide as you do in some other beach areas of Hua Hin.
The Anantasila does not over promote itself, it doesn't have to ! A simply lovely realxing place right on the sandy beach.

Unique Qualities: Beautiful tropical location right on the beach, palm trees, great views.
