I ended my Contiki Simply Italy tour in Rome. We had a few days to wander around and discover what the city has to offer.
I was first discouraged by the litter and grafiti. But once I got into the more touristic areas the city was a bit cleaner and more inviting.
My favourite part of Rome was going to the Vatican and seeing the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basillica. The experience was overwhelming! |
