"Glimpse of Chichen Itza" Ruinas Chichén-Itzá by squidchip

Ruinas Chichén-Itzá Travel Guide: 508 reviews and 1,089 photos

We really wanted to go a visit the Mayan ruins at Coba'. Unfortunately for us, the only day a tour ran out that way was on Friday, the day we left. We opted for Chichen-Itza instead. The bus ride to the ruins was great. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of ruins on the property. I went in expecting to see one pyramid and was excited to see that areas of the whole city have left markers. Everything from the worship house to the cemetery and from the arena to the hospital. Our tour guide was also very proud of his heritage and knew what he was talking about I really enjoyed my day there.
