Mina is the city known as Tent City. Actually this is where pilgrims spend their 1st day of Hajj.
There are literally thousands of tents set up by the authorities, where pilgrims can camp. Usually these are large tents and about 20-40 people camp in one.
Most of these now have air conditioning and some sort of matting.
Toilets and ablusion areas are shared by about 10-15 tents and are quite extensive now.
