Ovalle, the lost city

I went to walk through some days to this city, to that unknown moment by me. Valley is the capital city of the comuna homonymous and of the province of Limarí, one of the three in which the Region is divided administratively of Coquimbo. It is found 412 kilometers to the north of Santiago and 86 kilometers of The Serene one, the regional capital. His name is Mr. José Tomás Ovalle Bezanilla (1778-1831), vice president of the Republic that had just passed away just a month before the foundation of the city. The ovallinos as he is called to the people that lives in this city, they are peaceful people, of field, of work, where his worries pass for working to be able to survive and weekends to be able to enjoy the attractions that offers the city.
Many tourists as I, we arrive because is a strategic one and close to other places of the zone, like the Valley of the Charm, the National Park Fray Jorge and the religious festival of the Boy God of Sotaquí. Besides the city offers a railway museum in the entrance to the market of fruits, its entrance is free, already some steps Mondays, Wednesday and Friday, from 9 to 18 hs the market of fruits functions and vegetables, with many positions, which includes, clothes and food. Something that should not lack in its purchases the cheese of goat is irreplaceable.
