Oh, beautiful Venezia, I don't think I could ever get enough! What a wonderful city, unlike anything other. I have been to Venice four times and was just as giddy the last time as I was the first.

I love to spend my time in Venice exploring. I take to the narrow side streets and just keep walking until I hit a dead end or the edge of the island. I will stop to admire details such as doorknockers or crumbling paint. I run across mothers with strollers and old men sitting on benches. I hear conversations echoing through canals and smell aromas of a pranzo drifting down from a kitchen.

And then before I know it, the sun is beginning to sink low in the sky and the light takes on a wonderful glow. Somehow Venice is even more beautiful that before and I wish the sun would never set. But it always sets, and I am always left wanting to see the city in that light again. That is the magic of Venice. And that is why I will always come back.
