Oh, fair Verona, I will always treasure thee! My visit to Verona is what I consider my first taste of Italy. I had previously visited Vipiteno in northern Italy, but it was so far north in Tirol that they still spoke German there! So, by default, Verona is my first true Italian adventure. And what better start to exploring Italy than the romantic city of Verona. |

The highlights of my Verona trip were a visit to the 15th Century Giardino Giusti, a night of jazz at the Teatro Romano, a visit to the Museo Archeologico, and spending many a fine hour in cafes and restaurants just enjoying the lovely city around me. |
