A fountain on every street corner As a weekend trip one fine weekend during my stay in Angers, two of my friends and I took a night train plus two connections to a town on the Riveria called Aix-en-Provence. Famous for its fountains, and its charm, Aix-en-Provence was a short but fun trip. Nevermind the tiredness we experienced resulting from the ride on the night train, we stayed with an older French lady named Gilbert (zhee-bair) in her lovely ranch about 3km outside of Aix on a hill looking down on the city. |
