I know everybody says that but I had to say it. We stopped here but briefly when I was here in 1999. We were on our way from having stayed the night in Cannes nearby and having toured perfume factories in Grasse and Eze. We left that night on a night train to Paris...one of those stop and go ones, with the couchettes that have six bunks (three on each sice). Not extremely comfortable.
Nice was pretty enough though and I wish I could have seen more. Really only had time to eat dinner, walk around and catch the train. Here's a photo of downtown anyway. If you've been, tell me more.
