Gateway to Durmitor

Zabljak, we visited for a couple of days in summer. The town itself can be used as a base to visit the Durmitor Park which is what we did. A bit tainted by our experience at the MB Hotel so it's a little brief.
We found nothing in the town worth visiting but the surrounding area well worth a visit.

Accommodation

Hotels.
We researched hotels on various sites and guidebooks and none of them had a particularly good write up. We plumped for MB Hotel but very good here. O would not go to any hotels at Zabljak and plump for self catering accommodation in apartment or rooms if I were to go again. There are plenty of restaurants and stores around for essentials.

Dave, lovely little page about Zabljak here. It was also our idea to explore a bit of the mountaia area in Montenegro, but as we liked teh coastline so much we skipped the mountain area. Shame about your hotel. Why does the poor bear always has a bee on his nose?
