STOP PRESS - Unspoilt village on the Algarve

Courtesy of a VT recommendation we found Salema - a small village east of Lagos by about 20 miles. A few restaurants/cafes and a handful of shops. There is only one road through the village and a beautiful beach.

However just look out for the tide. It surely cannot come up this close every day but had us all running for cover as it crept up on the blind side.

salema is certainly one of the nicest places in the algarve.

nice page - looks like you did better than we did for a village. We did get to Albufeira which was like a new jersey shore town = that we liked. Thanks for coming by and confirming our opinions.
