A living history lesson

by mafi_moya - last update: Oct 12, 2004

It's all true, Oxford is an absolutely stunning city. I had a few days there earlier this year and I figured it was an ideal city to start to build up my forgotten-about UK pages a bit.

It's completely dominated by the university - and what a university! I wish I'd gone somewhere like this - maybe it would have inspired me to study a bit more. I don't see how you can fail to be inspired with so much incredible history about you and when even the libraries and pubs are architectural masterpieces.Every corner seems steeped in history and significance.

It's a beautiful city and deservedly one of Britain's most visited places.

Wow! Oxford's Bridge of Sighs is much more beautiful than the one in Cambridge! :-) Interesting info, & Great PICS! ~Elaine~
